JiChu English helps parents turn everyday objects and moments into baby-friendly English conversations. The app does not require an account.

Information we process

When you use shared search, the word or short phrase you enter is sent to our service. If no matching moment exists, it is sent to our language-model provider to create content. The generated Conversation Moment, its topic tags, and aggregate query count are stored so other users can find the same content.

Do not enter names, contact details, health information, or other personal information. The service rejects common contact-information patterns and unsafe queries.

Information kept on your device

Your selected baby age band, favourites, and recent activity are kept locally by the app. JiChu English does not create a child account or intentionally collect a child's name, photograph, voice, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier.

Service providers and retention

Cloudflare hosts our API and shared-content database. Zhipu AI (BigModel) processes search prompts used for content generation. Shared generated moments remain available until removed or quarantined after reports. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical data needed to deliver and secure their services.

Your choices

You can use the bundled offline moments without shared search. You may report generated content inside the app. To request review or removal of shared content, contact us with the moment title or search term.
